    Jews can definitely drink wine and alcohol. In fact, many Jewish ceremonies require wine. As for why they cover the brides face, the most common answer is for modesty. And men and women generally don’t dance together for the purpose of modesty as well.

    ummm my familys orthodox and my father and uncles shave- u just cant use a rlly sharp razor. they use electric ones so its not a really close shave

    being jewish is passed down through the mother so if ur moms jewish ur jewish too. also a boy’s automatically bar mitzva, meaning he is responsible for all mitzvos, at age 13. the party’s just to celebrate that

    I respect the Jewish religious traditions and enjoy studying and reading about their depth, meanings and the closeness of family and community. If I were not Roman Catholic, I’d be thrilled to be Jewish!
