Dirty Dancing USA – Jen and Tony’s First Wedding Dance

We practiced with the movie to do the same movement and dance from “(I’ve Had) the Time of my Life” in the movie “Dirty Dancing” with Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze – minus some turns and the lift (the dress was too heavy). We did it for our first wedding dance. In the original dirty dancing, the camera cuts away, so we borrowed from the Dancing with the Stars rendition of “I’ve Had the Time of My Life” with Tony Dovolani & Cheryl Burke, but they actually also departed from the original choreography if you look at the dances side to side. People have been commenting that the band was bad, but THEY SOUNDED MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!! Video by Formica Video, Pompton Lakes, NJ. It was an awesome wedding. And it was back in November 2006, before the Brits posted their video! Great minds think alike, I guess! Enjoy our first dance!

Wedding Dance – Surprise First Wedding Dance – At Last + Soulja Boy + Apache + Buffalo Gals Breakdance

Not the first but with our own spin “literally”. We were inspired by the youtube surprise wedding dance stars to do this. I have to say it was a lot of fun and our guests enjoyed it. Also, we are not the youngest couple, I’m 40 and she’s 30 and by no means professional dancers so I think we really surprised everyone with some of our moves.
