We all hold one flower to our hearts as a favourite. My favourite flower in any colour is an Orchid. Orchids expensive, beautiful and rare. I ordered a lovely bouquet of lemon and white Orchid and Lilies for my wedding. Lemon and white orchids were used for table top flowers and church flowers. Our wedding cake had a Orchid theme.
An alternative to the Orchid could be the Calla Lily for your do it yourself wedding invites. There are a number of ways you can try to make your own handmade Calla Lily wedding invitations. Brides can save money from their wedding budget by only using one sheet of card. On the top of a rectangle wedding invitation card you can draw a couple of Calla Lilies around one of the edges. This space gives you plenty of space to write your wedding words.
You can use only one sheet of card and save money. Try taking a photograph of a Calla Lily. You can chose your favorite photograph. Take copies of your photos and then paste each photograph onto your wedding invitations. Attach a white ribbon around the centre of the card. Your guests will not only have a beautiful wedding invitation but also a lovely romantic wedding card.
On the front of your wedding invitation your bouquet of Calla Lilies would look stunning. On one wedding card you can have a border of Calla Lilies going around one border. You could have a normal shaped card for your wedding invitation. The flower photograph could be pasted onto the front of your wedding invitation. A good idea would be to write the bride and grooms names underneath the bouquet. Once your wedding guests open their diy wedding invitations . On the left hand side of the wedding invitation you can place the bouquet of Calla Lilies with the wedding invitation words written on the inside.
