I think I might try this for prom next year.
Wow, very nice idea, they would make lovely Bridesmaid Dresses too in a different colour!
I’ve been looking for something just like this, AWESOME idea, cute and elegant! I loved all the wedding videos!!! Maybe you could do more special event decor/dress videos?
Thank you so much
I think all the videos are amazing, but this one blew me away! I’m not even a novice DIYer yet, but I hope to get better and better so that I can eventually wear my own creations exclusively.
The dress is awesomely ingenious and the design for the top is super cute! I’d personally make it from heavier fabrics, but think doing it on the cheap is super cool!
not bad!
I agree… not because the brooch isn’t fun and interesting, but because its weight pulls the material down too much. I’d say go with either a lighter brooch or a sturdier fabric.
have you tried looking on ebay? also, while I don’t know much about sewing machines, I saw one at kmart today that was only like $60 and looked pretty good to me…
expensive isn’t synonymous with classy; there are plenty of trashy, over-the-top weddings that cost a fortune! I imagine that anyone who would choose this option for their wedding is someone who leads an unmaterialistic life and is known for their simplicity. Consequently, it seems reasonable to me that such a person’s wedding would be attended by people who are like-minded and would appreciate the ingenuity and message of the wedding. just a thought…
This is such a great look for you. I just got a free sephora giftcard so i’m ordering some of the products your using…Thought i’d let you know sephora is giving away 365 giftcards PER DAY. this really saved me some money!!

I’m loving that idea
I cannot believe how beautiful and wearable this actually turned out to be. Great video!
With a few adjustments, this dress can turn into a cool coverup for going to the beach.
Make it shorter, add a hoodie with sleeves, or just straps.
I don’t think so. Compare to the more complicated, intricate, heavy, and expensive dresses, this should be fairly simple to remove.
Cute idea but you’d have to be stick thin to look good in it like the model. The very thin t-shirt material is not flattering on backs with junk in the trunk.
look at all those cute pins! rocknroll
lovein it
this is similar to the one in Generation T. it’s CUTE!
This is creative…. but the brooch looks very crotchtacular… which is awkward.
very cool idea but i wouldn’t wear it for my wedding!
amazing
this was very creative…wow i know someone who could use this idea.
well, the dark green might not be what everyone would use (a pastel cameo, or white corral pin would be good), but i think that the green leaves in the hydrangea bouquet go very well with this brooch.
this is a good dress idea.
you deserved it, that was some awesome DIY
(nice job with those pants!!)
that might be why she has only $30 in her account.
The Macbook is probably for work. Besides, it’s just a skit.
